back to my old blogging ways
I'm sorry for not blogging these past... week. It's been pretty tough at school (declamations, speeches, pajamas and the like) - and I did I mention my English teacher told me to start reviewing every lesson I've had since first year - good thing I have sources. This is because I'm the class representative for the English quiz bee. Honestly, when I was writing on the board I was thinking whether I should screw it up or just go with it cause I had a pretty good chance of winning and I wasn't sure whether I wanted to join. Until now, I'm not sure I can handle it but it will boost up my extra curriculars so maybe it is good but still it's pressure especially since my class is competitive. FYI, the hotel thing did not happen. I hate my mom right now but shhh... cause she's taking us shopping with her brother and I'm in the mood to buy.

Who hasn't heard of the iPhone? It's an ingenius product manufactured by Apple and it's got a mobile, an iPod and a web browser rolled into one. I would consider buying it but I already have a trusty phone, an iPod mini and a laptop [and still eyeing a different laptop] plus it doesn't have a camera - if it had, I'd be impatiently waiting for it to get into the Philippine market.

Here's a weird update... I have a new affie: Erika who is not so new since we've been commenting each other's blogs for the past two [?] years and we know each other personally. It's crazy to think we haven't been affies up until now because we've known each other for so long.

It's past one and I have to meet up with my groupmates to do this social studies project at two. Between you and me I told them I had to be home by four but I didn't tell them it's because I have to watch TV. But who cares... they're gonna make me draw anyway. lol. So maybe I'll update later if something pops into my head but right now there's a stuffed chicken waiting for me and I'm hungry.

I know I'm pathetic for doing this but I noticed how I only have 16 [?] friends on MySpace cause all my local friends have Friendster profiles so it would be nice if you added me: zephyrdeity@yahoo.com. Here's the link.

Thanks to the 26 commenters - it's the highest i've gotten. I'll return comments when I get back and maybe move the December posts to the archive.

school has started
It's only been a week of school and i'm already beat. I experienced about ten tests and a declamation! I was so mortified but I practiced last night and it was going okay for the first part but when I started to look at the audience I forgot to do the gestures and just blabbed the whole thing until the end.

Did I mention that it's my birthday on the 14th? Yup! It's my birthday. Send in your presents to this address... just kidding!

Oh, and my mom is being annoying cause we were supposed to spend a night at the hotel and she didn't book it so that sucks but we'll try to fix it up for Tuesday cause we've got no school on Wednesday.

So that's it for now. See ya!

i need a credit card!
Okay, I need a credit card preferably a Master Card but I found out that it's not easy to get one of those... anyway, Paypal doesn't allow Philippine users to receive money anyway. Tsk, and I really wanted to join some of those blog to profit stuff.

We went to the airport the other day to fetch my grandmother. It was so boring - waiting and stuff but we ate some food at the coffee shop to pass the time. My grandma and I don't exactly have a bond. It's hard to talk to her with her Waray dialect so I just try to ignore her as much as possible. Yeah, I know I'm mean but it seems hard to actually form a bond between us. I'm not so willing either.

So today's the 6th and school's on the 8th - I've finished most of my homework except for the Filipino subject stuff [I suck at that even though I'm a Filipino] but I can't find my English notebook. I think someone borrowed it but I don't really know who. Give it back whoever you are! I need it so bad. We have like eight homeworks to write in that notebook including a stupid sonnet about our name.

So spring is almost here - to those who'll be able to experience it anyway, and here are some trends that won't take a backseat this season...

[a] short dresses and big bold prints

[b] the nautical look esp. stripes

[c] looking feminine with flowy skirts and the color yellow is gonna be quite big

[d] dressing down

[e] the suit

[f] huge sunglasses

[g] rubber

So that's about it, and I'd like to say that I have new affies: Sarah and Matoda. Go ahead and visit them!

sale!
Today I said [technically, I didn't] goodbye to my cousin, Megan, from Baguio City without so much as a blink in her direction. I guess I just didn't feel like talking to her - and no I had no urge to even acknowledge her. Maybe it's because she can get away with wearing tank tops amongst a city with high criminal rates... ya, I think that's pretty much it and the fact that she looks good in it. I actually tried wearing one and looked somewhat okay apart from my square shoulders which people say is a blessing... if you're thin!!! Get it straight people.

It turns out that some schools here are already having classes and I'm glad ours is still at January 8 because I haven't finished a single piece of homework and I'm not planning on starting just yet... maybe at night instead of staring at the ceiling, waiting for my eyes to become heavy. Did I mention that my friend, Nikka Larcia, totally had me with her little "there's school tomorrow" stunt. Die cretin! lol

We went to Glorietta this morning and it was so boring - sipping cold ice tea was the climax of my trip there. There were loads of shops that I didn't know existed in our country there like Armani Exchange, Rampage...etcetera. [I don't feel like giving their links right now, sorry.] Which reminds me, I saw a cute pair of boots and capris that was sorta ruched [did i spell that right?] on the hemline in Zara but I didn't feel like shopping at that time but when we got to Gateway Mall I was all about shopping especially with a 50% off sale at Mango. This changed my view of crappy sales here in the Philippines since most of the items for sale are crappy stuff but this time is a special exception. Did I mention that I love the holidays? So I got a nice pair of gray non-capris with drawstrings on the ankle which was good because it was a bit long... and the non-capris bit? Ya, see I've got quite a lot of those already and I plan to buy another one tomorrow if I manage to make my dad cough up some cash. lol.

By the way, do you guys know any store where I can get short-sleeved hoodies? Please, please, please tell me. Maybe one that looks like this...

Unfortunately.... this is a henley hoodie and I was going for the ones with zippers.

Lol, I'm watching E! News Weekend on the Lifestyle Network and Britney Spears is the worst-dressed person for 2006 according to some magazine I forgot the name of.

And did I mention a Shrek 3!? Awesome, right? And Justin Timberlake is playing the cousin of Fiona [Cameron Diaz' character]. I'm already excited about it... I've loved the last two movies so far.

I forgot to mention that the dressing room at Mango is awesome but somewhat weird. The walls are mirror and the doors of the stalls are also mirrors and at first I thought there were only three stalls but then it turns out that there were like ten... I was just afraid that I'd walk into the mirror or something. lol. And my sister hates dressing room stalls that don't have locks.

Gotta go, to watch Desperate Housewives... ^_^

P.S. Firefox rocks, my IE just won't cooperate with me these days.
